Will 2026 be the year England end 60 years of waiting for a World Cup crown? Thomas Tuchel reacted to the draw and the Three Lions' Group L opposition.

"[It's] a difficult group. We have Croatia and Ghana, two regulars in World Cups. And we have Panama. I don't know much about Panama, but we will know everything about them when the tournament starts. So it's a difficult group, a difficult opener against Croatia, but OK, we'll take it from here. For me personally, even in the Champions League, you have to focus on the group, the group is always the most difficult and we want to escape, we want to win the group. It's a tough one.

"I'm looking forward to getting the tournament started. Like I said, for me, the focus will be totally on the group. It's always a challenge with four ambitious teams together to come out on top, and that is where all the energy will go.

"We improved a lot in September, October, November. We felt we found our energy and we found good performances and excellent results. An now it's a bit unfair because now we're fully excited, we know who we'll play against. But we have to wait until March to meet the team again and then we have to wait until June until the tournament starts. So that's a little bit of a downside, but we'll make sure that we're ready."
