Madrid plan sensational return for Como star Paz
15:49 agoRomanoâs update follows James McNicholasâ report for The Athletic this week, in which he suggested that it wouldnât be a great surprise if a Premier League club tried to test Arsenal with a January enquiry for Lewis-Skelly.
But like Romano, McNicholas added that Lewis-Skelly remains committed to Arsenal, and thereâs no indication they want to sell. He went on to say that Lewis-Skelly also seemingly remains part of Mikel Artetaâs plans.
Indeed, Arsenal arenât actively seeking to sell any first-team players in the January transfer window. With the team still competing on all fronts, theyâre looking instead to maintain their squad depth for the second half of the season.
The likes of Ben White and Gabriel Jesus could reportedly attract suitors in 2026 given their limited minutes, but thatâs perhaps more of a summer concern.
The squad is in a strong position right now. When everyone is fit, there are strong options for both starts and rotation, and current estimates suggest all the injured players will be back by the end of this month.
That could always change, but as it stands, Arsenal seem to have just the right numbers in the squad.
